Community Relations CommitteeCoordinator: Amy GriffisThis committee seeks ways to engage the students and the school in the greater community. They run the food drive, Christmas Giving Tree and other outreach programs. They also organize the Palomares apparel sales so students can show their school pride. Community Relations Committee DescriptionThe Community Relations Committee is responsible for coordinating community outreach projects for the students and families to participate in during the school year. Currently, there are two outreach projects; the Food Drive which takes place in November and the Adopt-A-Family which takes place in December.StructureThis committee would ideally have at least 4 members.Time CommitmentTime commitment is minimal, with the active participation concentrated in the months of November and December.DutiesThe duties of the Community Relations Committee include the following:
